Los Angeles Airport Police Honor Officers, Civilians For Dedication To Duty, Acts Of Bravery

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Airport Police Division held its third awards ceremony Monday.

The Medal of Valor, the Alfred E. Turner Humanitarian Service Medal, the Police Star, the Lifesaving Medal and commendations were awarded  at the 11 a.m. event at Sheraton Gateway Hotel.

At total of 56 officers and civilians received the commendations for dedication to duty and other medals recognizing acts of bravery and heroism.
