Apparent Dispute Between Transients Leads To Homeless Man's Stabbing Death

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Officials say a dispute between three transients near Lafayette Park in Koreatown has left one homeless man dead

On Saturday around 10:15 p.m., an adult black male with visible stab wounds was found near 6th Street and Virgil Avenue.

The unidentified man was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Los Angeles Police said witnesses detained two suspects in the stabbing. The suspects were later identified as Arthur James Deblanc, 41, and Sarah Wilson, 25.

Police said the suspects and the victim were all transients and apparently got into a dispute that escalated.

Deblanc and Wilson were booked on homicide charges.
