Burbank Police Hunt 2 Home Invasion Robbers Who Allegedly Posed As Mail Carriers

BURBANK (CBSLA.com)   —   Burbank Police are on the hunt for two male suspects they say committed a home invasion robbery after posing as mail carriers.

Police say the robbery was reported just after 4:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Paseo Redondo.

Authorities said the two male suspect knocked on the front door of a residence claiming to have a mail delivery.

After the door was opened by a female housekeeper, the two men forced their way in.

The victim told police that one of the men was wearing a ski mask and possibly armed with a handgun.

Police said the suspects forced the housekeeper into a bathroom.

Authorities said the suspects  took an undisclosed amount of property and cash from the location before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described as two white males approximately 27-30 years of age.
