Crews Investigate Suspicious Item Found In Sherman Oaks Car
SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are investigating a suspicious item Monday that was found inside a car.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent to the 5000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard shortly before 2:00 p.m.
SKY9's Stu Mundel reported from overhead that Van Nuys Boulevard has been shut down between Magnolia and Riverside, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
A bomb squad has been called to the scene; however, its robot has not yet approached the vehicle.
