Dozens Gather At CBS Studio Center For 9th Annual Neurofibromatosis Walk

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Dozens of people gathered at the CBS Studio Center Sunday to fight genetic disorder Neurofibromatosis.

Josh Rubenstein joined participants at the 9th Annual Neurofibromatosis (NF) Walk.

NF, a condition that causes tumors to grow on nerves, affects one in every 3,000 people in America and millions worldwide.

Josh spoke with NF survivor Zach Marks, who was at the event Sunday.

"I battled with it twice in my life and miraculously the chemo worked, thankfully, and here I am today," he said. "I take every day as a gift because I don't know what is next but it is a miracle I am here today at this walk. Life is awesome."
