Pomona Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized In Critical Condition

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A man remains hospitalized Saturday after being shot multiple times in Pomona.

According to the Pomona Police Department, the shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Willow Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Police said the victim was treated at the scene and was airlifted to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, however, officers said they believe the victim was possibly targeted.

At this time, detectives said they do not believe this was a random act of violence.

No description of a suspect or vehicle was provided.
