Dodgers Postseason Tickets Will Be Available To General Public Friday

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Dodgers season ticket and premium holders will have the opportunity to purchase postseason tickets Wednesday, while the general public will have access Friday.

National League Wild Card Game, Division Series and Championship Series tickets will be available to the public on Dodgers.com at 10 a.m. Friday. Followers of the team's Twitter account @Dodgers will have an exclusive purchase period prior to that from 9:45-9:59 a.m.

If the Dodgers finish the regular season with the best or second best record out of the league's three division winners, they would open the NL Division Series at Dodger Stadium on Oct. 3. The NL Wild Card Game is scheduled for Oct. 1.

As of Wednesday, the team is first in the National League, leading the San Francisco Giants by three games. The Dodgers have 11 regular season games left, including a three-game series at home against the Giants Sept. 22-24.

The NL Championship Series will begin Oct. 11, and if Los Angeles has the best record, games 1 and 2 will be played at Dodger Stadium as well as games 6 and 7 on Oct. 18-19 if necessary. The postseason schedule can be viewed here.

The team strongly encourages fans to also purchase parking passes, which will be available Friday, to reduce the transaction time at the stadium gates. Officials say postseason parking will be at or over capacity for all games, and parking is not guaranteed on site for those who do not purchase tickets in advance.

Details regarding World Series tickets will be announced at a later date.
