Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Tour Bus In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com)  —  A motorcyclist was killed Saturday evening after colliding with a tour bus in Hollywood.

The accident occurred just after 6 p.m. in the 2300 block of Highland Avenue, near the Hollywood Bowl, authorities said.

Witnesses said the motorcyclist appeared to be racing with another motorcyclist.

Police are checking on that report.

They also said the cyclist involved in the accident was rushed by ambulance to LA County - USC Medical Center where he was declared dead.

Authorities told City News Service the victim was believed to be 53-years-old.
