POMONA (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles County Fair will kick off Friday afternoon, featuring food, fun, rides and more at the Fairplex in Pomona!

The official ribbon cutting opening the 92nd annual fair will be held at 3 p.m., followed by a parade with entertainment, classic cars, floats and local talent.

Singer and Disney star Zendaya will kick off the End of Summer Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. with special guest Trevor Jackson.

Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com or at the Fair box office.

The Fair will also welcome a new attraction in 2014, Luminasia, a giant Chinese lantern festival, complete with illuminated Chinese lanterns fashioned after iconic landmarks.

Luminasia is open from 6 p.m. to closing. Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, ages 5 and younger are free.

Other attractions this year include Beneath the Sea, Chinese flowers and gardens, a petting zoo, carnival rides, and Kissmania, a tribute to the legendary rock band.

Single day admission to the Fair on weekends is $19 for adults and $15 for ages 6-12. Tickets are available at Ralphs and Cardenas Markets.

A $59.99 4-day ticket package is also available at Costco and includes a parking pass and 44 ride/game tickets.

The Los Angeles County Fair runs through Sept. 28.
