LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a bomb squad has cleared an item previously deemed “suspicious” at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday.

The incident unfolded just after 7:15 a.m. after an unattended item was left curbside between Terminals 2 and 3 on the upper departure levels, Sgt. Belinda Nettles, a public information officer, told CBSLA. The item had been subsequently declared “suspicious.”
