Toddler, 3, Rescued After Near Drowning In Pool At Irvine Park

IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — A 3-year-old female Saturday was rescued after nearly drowning in a community pool located in Irvine Park.

According to the Orange County Fire Department, the toddler was under water for 30 to 60 seconds before her parents noticed and pulled her out of the pool.

Witnesses then administered CPR and called 911 just before 6 p.m., said Capt. Summers.

Authorities said that the toddler had a pulse and was transported to a hospital in moderate condition.
