Circuit Repairs Put Out Lights In Malibu

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Nearly 400 Southern California Edison customers were without service Saturday afternoon as crews worked to repair an overhead circuit in the same area where a pole caught fire on Friday.

According to a city spokesperson, power was out in Malibu Colony as well as at some beach homes near the Malibu Civic Center. Power was expected to be restored around 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the utility's automated system, which indicated that 370 customers were without electricity.
