Man Held On Suspicion Of Lewd Acts With Minor

JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A man suspected of molesting a Jurupa Valley child is being held at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning in lieu of $1 million bail.

Delfino Mora Felix, 34, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of lewd acts with a minor, sodomy of a child under 10 years old and making terrorist threats.

Authorities were informed of the molestation allegations after being called to a residence in the 2900 block of Avalon Street, Riverside County Sheriff's Department officials said.

The victim, a youth whose name has not been released, was molested over a "several-month period of time," Sgt. Justin Rowan said.

Detectives questioned Felix on Monday afternoon, and he was arrested without incident, Rowan said.

The relationship between Felix and the victim has not been disclosed.
