Jurors In Bryan Stow's Civil Trial Against Ex-Dodgers Owner McCourt Are In Deadlock

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - After day five days of deliberations in the Bryan Stow beating case, jurors in the trial of a negligence lawsuit against former Dodgers owners Frank McCourt say they are  in a hopeless deadlock.

Stow's family is suing former Dodger's owner McCourt for lifetime medical bills that will be projected to up at least $37 million.

They claim McCourt was negligent by not having enough security at Dodger stadium on the day of the 2011 confrontation.

McCourt's lawyer says the beating is not his client's fault.

Before the jury went home for the day, LA Superior Court Judge Victor Chavez answered a question by one of the jurors about the link between McCourt and the other defendant in Stow's case, Los Angeles Dodgers LLC.

Jurors will resume deliberating Thursday morning.
