Man Robs Union Bank In Norwalk

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — A man robbed a bank in Norwalk Monday morning.

The robbery happened at the Union Bank, 1221 Norwalk Boulevard, around 10:30 a.m., authorities said.

The man reportedly left a note and a suspicious device and told a teller it was explosive.

He escaped with an unknown amount of cash.

The bomb squad was dispatched to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
