PASADENA (CBSLA.com)   —  Authorities said the body of a 57-year-old man was found on a Pasadena sidewalk Sunday morning.

The cause of the man’s death is under investigation, according to Pasadena Police.

Authorities said the victim, identified as Steven Hayes of Altadena, was found just before 7 a.m. in the 2000 block of Los Robles Avenue, said Pasadena Police Lt. Jason Clawson.

Hayes was declared dead at the scene.

Officials said his body showed no signs of physical trauma.

Investigators were also trying to determine how long the victim was dead before his body was discovered.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is trying to establish a cause of death, Clawson said.
