STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) Dakota Weiss, Executive Chef of W Los Angeles, stopped by KCAL9 Friday to show viewers some of the summer snacks they will be serving at the hotel’s WET Sunday pool parties.

WET Sundays Pool Parties will be held every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The new summer menu at WET will focus on the three rolls:

Lobster Roll:

  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat
  • 4 tbls lemon-infused olive oil
  • 1 each avocado
  • 1 tbls chopped chives
  • 1 each shallot, minced
  • ½ clove garlic, minced
  • 1 each lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 tbls mayonnaise
  • 4 each hot dog buns
  • 1 each romaine, shredded
  • Salt and blk pepper to taste

Crab Roll:

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 tbls whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp tarragon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp EVOO
  • 1 each lemon, juiced and zested
  • 4 each hot dog buns
  • 1 each ripe tomato
  • Salt and blk pepper to taste

Tuna Poke Roll:

  • 1 lb ahi tuna, diced large
  • 1 tbsp yuzu juice
  • 1 tbsp white soy
  • 3 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp scallions, chopped
  • 4 tsp. sriracha sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ each Napa cabbage, shredded
  • 1 each cucumber, sliced
  • 4 each hot dog bun
  • Salt and blk pepper to taste
