Whitey Bulger's Santa Monica Apartment For Rent

SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — Notorious mob boss Whitey Bulger's seaside apartment is for rent.

The Santa Monica apartment where Bulger called home for more than a decade is on the market for $2,950 a month.

The rent-controlled unit in the Princess Eugenie apartment complex has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fireplace, balcony, dishwasher and two gated parking spots.

Bulger was arrested in June 2011 and FBI agents found more than $800,000 in cash and several weapons hidden in the apartment's walls.

The crime kingpin is currently serving two life terms for racketeering and his role in 11 murders.
