Bridge Demo Will Close Major LAX Artery In July

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An upcoming construction project will force the closure of a major artery to Los Angeles International Airport.

Century Boulevard at Aviation Boulevard will be closed for 57 hours the last weekend in July for the demolition of a railroad bridge.

Lanes will also be reduced on Aviation during July 25-28.

After the demo is complete, one lane will remain closed on Century Boulevard for 16 months as crews works on Metro's new Crenshaw-LAX line.
