Suspect Taken Into Custody As Police Investigate Triple Stabbing In Whittier

WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) —  Police are investigating a triple stabbing in Whittier, authorities said.

The stabbings are believed to have all taken place inside a residence in the 14000 block of Mystic Street.

A LA County Fire supervisor told KCAL9 that there were three victims.

The suspect has been taken into custody after he reportedly barricaded himself inside the residence. SWAT was called.

It was unclear if the man gave up willingly or if SWAT intervened and extricated him.

All three victims were transported to a hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

It is believed to be a case of domestic violence.
