LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 55-year-old man pleaded guilty Wednesday to killing his wife by stabbing her 41 times at a Santa Monica supermarket.

The 46-year-old woman had obtained a restraining order against Green and told him she wanted to permanently end their relationship, according to the
L.A. Superior Court Judge James Dabney dismissed an assault with a deadly weapon charge which involved a good Samaritan who intervened in the attack. That person was not injured.
