Mama Bear, Cub Hang Out In Monrovia Backyard

MONROVIA (CBSLA.com)  — A mama bear and her cub frolicked in a Monrovia backyard Sunday.

The homeowner caught the rollicking duo on cellphone video around 9 a.m.

Kate Clark said the bears explored every inch of her backyard, climbed trees and drank from her birdbath. The mother bear also briefly nursed the thirsty cub.

The homeowner said the bears even took a quick nap before deciding to hang out in a neighbor's backyard.

Considerate to a fault, the bears didn't destroy any property.
