Pico Rivera Grandmother Reported Missing Found Safe At LAX

PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com)  —  A missing 75-year-old woman, who suffers from early stage dementia, was found safe Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport.

Romelia Franco, of Pico Rivera, had been missing from her home in the 7000 block of Farmland Avenue since about 9 a.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

She was found near the airport in a 1989 Cadillac Seville coupe and was reunited with her anxious family.

She will be helped home by relatives, deputies said.
