Woman Wounded In Hollywood Shooting

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A woman was shot Monday night in Hollywood.

Sheriff's deputies and the LAPD responded to a report of shots fired around 10 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of North Curson Avenue.

The victim was found with a gunshot wound. She was being transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

CBS2's Rachel Kim reports that a witness said he or she heard shots fired and then a female screaming.

An officer said the victim told him that her purse and laptop might have been taken.

Deputies told police that they saw a possible suspect in a dark jumpsuit riding a bike down an alley.

An alley at Curson and Fountain avenues was shut down.
