Long Beach Police Release Sketch Of Man Who Allegedly Groped Woman At Bus Stop

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Long Beach Police on Friday released a sketch of a suspect they say sexually groped a woman at a bus stop in Signal Hill.

The alleged assault occurred on May 7, about 4:30 p.m., at a passenger shelter located in the 900 block of E. Willow Street, authorities said.

A 26 year-old Long Beach resident told police she was approached by a male subject who engaged her in brief conversation. She said the man, without provocation, groped her breast and buttocks.

 

The suspect is described as black, with a medium complexion and about 25-27 years of age.

The alleged groper is between 5 feet 5 inches  -  5 feet 8 inches tall, about 130-140 pounds with black "fuzzy" hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a white T-shirt, blue basketball shorts and black socks.

Detectives are hoping that someone will recognize the suspect
