Police: Boy Kidnapped, Assaulted Before Being Dropped Off On Freeway Shoulder

MONCLAIR (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday continued to investigate the apparent kidnapping and assault of a 14-year-old boy in San Bernardino County.

Montclair police said in a news release that the boy was walking in the 10200 block of Tudor Avenue around 4:20 p.m. on Thursday when he was approached by an unknown white sedan with a missing rear hubcap.

Police said two men in black ski masks exited the car, and forced the victim into the car.

"The victim was threatened and assaulted before being dropped off on the shoulder of the eastbound I-10 Freeway by Euclid Avenue in the City of Upland," police said in the news release.

The first suspect was described by police as a white male adult with freckles; blue or green eyes; and a thin build. He was believed to be between the ages of 20 to 23, and was wearing black skinny jeans.

The second suspect was described as a black male adult between the ages of 20 to 23. He too was wearing a black ski mask; a "DC" belt; a black sweatshirt; and black Vans shoes, according to police.

Both suspects were wanted on suspicion of kidnapping and making criminal threats, police said. Neither have been apprehended.

Anyone with more information about this case was asked to call the Montclair Police Department at (909) 621-4771.
