Dodgers To Celebrate 10,000th Win June 4 Against White Sox, To Offer Free Pin

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - On Wednesday April 31, 2014, the Los Angeles Dodgers reached a milestone, winning their 10,000th game over the Minnesota Twins 6-4 at Target Field.

The milestone will be celebrated on June 4 at Dodgers Stadium when they take on the Chicago White Sox at 7:10PM.

Dodgers will offer a $10 ticket offer and hand out a commemorative pin for the first 40,000 fans.

The limited amount of $10 reserved and left-field pavilion tickets are available for purchase now, while supplies last, at www.dodgers.com/10k.

The Dodgers won 5,214 games in Brooklyn (1890-1957) and have now won 4,786 games in Los Angeles (1958-present). Only the Giants (10,709), Cubs (10,447) and Braves (10,421) have won more games than the Dodgers. The Giants reached 10,000 wins in 2005, the Cubs in 2008 and the Braves reached this milestone in 2011. The Dodgers' all-time official National League record now stands at 10,000-9082.
