LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — At least one person was injured Friday when a car collided with a Metro Blue Line train in Long Beach.

The crash took place at Long Beach Boulevard and 14th Street around 7:05 a.m., according to officials.

The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.

Several of the train’s passengers also complained of pain following the crash and were being examined.

The crash was under investigation.
