LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An armed man who had a dispute with a parking structure attendant Monday was critically wounded in an officer-involved shooting in downtown Los Angeles.

LAPD officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call around 4:30 p.m. at a parking lot at the One Wilshire building, located at 624 S. Grand Avenue.

Witnesses directed authorities to the suspect, who allegedly failed to obey an officer’s command.

The suspect was shot and transported to the hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition.
