SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — About 50 local runners Monday gathered for an early morning jog to honor those injured in last year’s Boston Marathon bombings.

Nike’s “#StrongerEveryRun” program will donate $1 for every mile tracked to the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), a nonprofit dedicated to helping those with physical challenges get involved in sports.
