UCLA Guard Jordan Adams Will Return To UCLA For Junior Season

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jordan Adams will return to UCLA for his junior season and won't enter the NBA draft.

The sophomore guard from Atlanta said Thursday he's had fun playing college basketball and he's excited about the team the Bruins will have next year. They'll be without sophomore Kyle Anderson and freshman Zach LaVine, both of whom said this week they're leaving school early to go pro.

Adams led the Bruins in scoring with 17.4 points per game, was the second-leading rebounder with 5.3 per game, and set the school single-season steals record with 95. He was named first team All-Pac-12.

Adams says he weighed his options and got feedback on his possible draft status before deciding to stay.

First-year coach Steve Alford says Adams will have a bigger role next year and he's excited to have him stick around.
