WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) – More than a dozen condom machines are being installed in residence halls on the campus of Whittier College this week.
The 15 contraceptive dispensers being placed in dorms will give the school’s roughly 1,700 students access to more than 40,000 free condoms. The Whittier College Quaker Campus reports junior Bobbi-Marie Mendoza was inspired to promote public health among students after she completed an internship with the Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project.READ MORE: Police Investigating Shooting In South Los Angeles
