ORANGE ( – Chapman University has launched a permanent Huell Howser exhibit following the iconic TV host’s death last year.

“That’s Amazing! Thirty Years of Huell Howser and California’s Gold” is sponsored by the Automobile Club of Southern California and can be visited at the university’s Leatherby Libraries.

Howser made monetary donations to the university and also donated several personal items including his art collection, show memorabilia, notes, papers and more than 900 episodes of “California’s Gold” and related shows.

The university has since digitized the shows, where are now available to view for free online.

Admission to the exhibit is also free.
