3 Southland Hospitals Ranked Among Nation's Top 100
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three LA hospitals were named Wednesday among the nation's top 100 by Becker's Hospital Review.
Research and nominations went into selecting Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The selections were listed alphabetically and not ranked.
The hospitals were chosen for their "rich history, strong credentials and a growing focus on how to best care for patients in an era of reform. These organizations have played home to some of the greatest medical advancements in U.S. healthcare history, and they are also the bastions of their respective communities — serving the roles of academic hubs or local mainstays."
Other hospitals in California listed among the top 100 were Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, UCSD Medical Center, Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Sutter Davis Hospital and UC San Francisco Hospital.
