LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A truck crashed into a restaurant Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles.

The incident happened at 5:12 p.m. at City Club on the corner of Sacramento Street and Santa Fe Avenue.

Sky2’s Stu Mundel reported that the driver, described to be a shirtless Hispanic man, fled on foot following the collision.

There were no injuries inside the restaurant.

The Department of Building and Safety was called to the scene to check out the structural integrity of the eatery.
