Police Make Public Plea To Couple Accused Of Taking Kids To Turn Themselves In
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are pleading with a couple to turn themselves in after they allegedly abducted their four children from a Boyle Heights home late last week.
Police say Enrique Felix and Rose Chairez are accused of taking the children from their grandmother's home on Friday afternoon about 12:30 p.m.
Maria Chairez, the children's grandmother, says her grand kids had only lived with her for a week. The kids were described as two boys, ages 7 and 5, and twin 1-year-old girls.
Chairez believes her daughter, Rose, is being manipulated by Felix, who she's been with for nearly 12 years.
Authorities are concerned because Felix has allegedly been known to be violent in the past, KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports. The pair lost custody of the kids.

"I want my kids back. You understand me? And my daughter too," Chairez said.
"If the parents are listening, we are asking you to come forward. Present yourselves. Bring those children forward so that we can ensure their safety," said LAPD Lt. Shannon Paulson on Saturday.
Police believe the couple made off in a dark blue PT Cruiser with tinted windows and white paper plates. The vehicle is also missing the right, rear hubcap.
Meanwhile, police say they have received a lot of vehicle calls, according to City News Service.
