Lindsay Lohan To Guest Star On '2 Broke Girls' Next Month

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The producers of "2 Broke Girls" announced Wednesday that actress Lindsay Lohan has been signed to guest star in an episode airing on April 14.

Lohan will play Claire Guinness, a soon-to-be-bride who asks Max and Caroline( Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs) to make her wedding cake. As Max and Caroline get to know Guinness, it quickly becomes clear that Claire has trouble making decisions.

Lohan, 27,  became an instant fan favorite when she was cast as the lead role of twin sisters Hallie and Annie in the Disney remake of "The Parent Trap." She went on to star in several feature films including her mega hit "Mean Girls," a critically-acclaimed which help cement her movie star cred. Lohan is no newcomer to television, having guest starred in pop culture favorites "Ugly Betty," "Glee" and "Anger Management," and is one of few actors to have appeared multiple times as the host of "Saturday Night Live."

She also starred as icon Liz Taylor in "Liz & Dick," a critically-lambasted 2012 TV movie for Lifetime.

"Lindsay," a docu-series about the actress' sometimes troubled life, premieres Saturday on OWN. The show is reported to chronicle Lohan's combative relationship with her dad, battles to stay sober and even a dressing-down from Oprah Winfrey.

"2 Broke Girls" is in its third season on CBS.
