STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Singer Kylie Hughes visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday ahead of the Hearts for Hope Gala this weekend.

The gala benefits the Union Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving men, women and children experiencing homelessness.

Hughes will be performing at the event this Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village.

Honorees will include Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, The Graduate School of Education and Psychology Mental Health Clinic of Pepperdine University, and Guggenheim Partners.
