Authorities Search For Suspect Who Fatally Stabbed Man At Compton Bar

COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are searching for the suspect who fatally stabbed a 46-year-old man at a Compton bar early Monday.

The incident happened around 12:50 a.m. at a bar in the 4600 block of East Alondra Boulevard, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Victim Enrique Rodriguez and the suspect, described to be a man in his 30s, got into a fight inside the bar and then they both left, Deputy Crystal Hernandez said.

Later, Rodriguez was discovered in the parking lot with a stab wound. He died at the hospital, according to the coroner's office.

The relationship between the two men is unknown.
