ROSEMEAD (CBSLA.com) — One person was injured Friday after a blown transformer knocked down some power lines in the city of Rosemead.

The incident around 3 p.m. happened in the 4800 block of Grand Avenue.

The injured person was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The power line was subsequently de-energized and removed from the roadway, reported KCAL9’s Stu Mundel.
