Deadly Hit-And-Run Reported In Lake Balboa
LAKE BALBOA (CBSLA.com) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by two hit-and-run drivers in Lake Balboa Friday evening.
The accident occurred at Victory Boulevard and Blewett Avenue, said authorities.
Stu Mundel said LAPD and homicide detectives were both on scene investigating the accident.
As of 11 p.m., the coroner was en route.
Mundel also reported that the LAPD was urging witnesses to the accident to come forward.
During the investigation, Victory Boulevard was closed between Woodley and Haskell.
