9 Teens Become Ill On LAX-Bound Flight
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Emergency crews Wednesday responded to LAX after nine teenagers became sick on a flight.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the teens, who were all traveling together, ate something prior to the flight and became sick around 11:30 a.m. while the plane was in the air.
The Delta flight 1392, which originated from Guatemala City, landed at Terminal 5 just before noon with the patients suffering from mild to moderate gastrointestinal illnesses.
The teens would likely be released to their parents, fire officials said.
