SAN BERNARDINO ( — Authorities say at least four suspects were arrested in connection with the theft of several high-end vehicles, including a $200,000 Dodge Challenger Super Bird.

The pricey race car, which was stolen from a repair facility last Sunday, was partially striped, San Bernardino police said in a department statement.

“The interior sum of it had been striped from the vehicle. It looked like it was in the process of being disassembled,” Lieutenant Paul Shafer told KNX 1070’s Megan Goldsby.

That vehicle was recovered in Rialto after authorities executed a search warrant, according to the statement. A subsequent search warrant, also executed in Rialto, then led authorities to recover two high-end BMW race cars.
