TEMECULA (CBSLA.com) — A 59-year-old Temecula man was charged with assault with a deadly weapon Wednesday after allegedly pulling a gun on a Girl Scout who was going door-to-door selling cookies.

The victim was reportedly going door-to-door to sell Girl Scout cookies to raise funds for her troop when Dodrill leveled a gun at her, officials said.
The girl’s father witnessed the alleged incident and immediately called police, according to authorities.

He is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 14.
