NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles police Thursday released a partial sketch of a man who tried to kidnap a 10-year-old girl at a San Fernando Valley elementary school.

The victim was not able to see the suspect’s entire face during the Jan. 22 attempted abduction in North Hollywood, police said.

The girl told authorities she was walking towards a restroom when a man approached her and put his hand over her mouth at Coldwater Canyon Elementary School.

She reportedly bit his hand and scared the suspect off.

He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall with partly gray hair and ear piercings.
