4 Masked Men Steal Money, Merchandise In Outlet Store Takeover Robbery

CAMARILLO (CBSLA.com) — Ventura County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday were searching for four men wanted for a takeover robbery at an outlet store.

The robbery happened Monday around 6:20 a.m. at the Sak's Off 5th Avenue store at the Camarillo Outlets, officials said.

According to authorities, four suspects wearing ski masks and dark clothing entered the store from a rear door as employees were reporting for work.

"The suspects' forced the employees to the ground and then one of the employees was forced to open a safe," Sgt. John Franchi said.

The suspects escaped with an unknown amount of cash and merchandise.

"No weapons were seen and no victims were injured during the robbery," Sgt. Franchi added.
