'Gravity', 'American Hustle' Lead 2014 Academy Awards Nominations

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — "Gravity" and "American Hustle" lead the 86th annual Academy Award nominations Thursday morning with 10 nominations each.

Chris Hemsworth and Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs delivered the announcements live at 5:30 a.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Snubs this year included "Saving Mr. Banks", "The Butler" and its cast, and Robert Redford in "All Is Lost", KNX 1070's Margaret Carrero reported.

The show, hosted by Ellen Degeneres,  will air live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 2 at 4 p.m.
