Motorcyclist Killed In 2-Vehicle Collision In Westchester

WESTCHESTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Westchester, just south of the Los Angeles International Airport.

The fatal crash was reported at 2:53 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Peter Bishop.

The crash occurred on the eastbound side of Imperial Highway near the Hughes Way on-ramp from the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.

Firefighters responded at 2:54 p.m. to an automobile-versus-motorcycle crash that happened on the eastbound Glenn Anderson Freeway, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The unidentified rider was ejected from the bike. No one was transported from the scene for hospital treatment, Main said.

The CHP said eastbound Imperial Highway was closed just east of Hughes Way, as was the Imperial Highway on-ramp to the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.
