Man, 29, Killed In Perris Parachuting Accident

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 29-year-old man was killed Friday in a parachuting accident in Perris.

Perris police responded to the 2000 block of Goetz Road about 11:19 a.m. following a report of an air emergency.

When they arrived, they located the victim and provided life-saving measures.

The victim, described as a white male, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
