Talk Show Host Arsenio Hall OK After Apparent SUV Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Talk show host Arsenio Hall brushed off reports Tuesday of his involvement in a non-injury traffic accident as a "highly exaggerated incident" after authorities said his Porsche SUV ran off the road in West Hills.

Hall was driving on Medical Center Drive near West Hills Hospital & Medical Center just north of Sherman Way around 7:18 p.m. Monday when he lost control of his new Cayenne S, according to police.

Investigators said Hall, 57, drove his car off the road into a dirt shoulder. The vehicle had to be towed following the incident, but Hall was not injured.

In a post to his Twitter account Tuesday, Hall responded to an inquiry from the account of actor Anthony Anderson by writing: "I'm good @AndersonAnthony ... highly exaggerated incident. #bentrim"

While it was unclear why Hall lost control of the vehicle, police said the "Coming To America" star was not suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
